I've spent the last 30-plus years writing software and, eventually, getting handed the fancier title of architect — which mostly means I get to draw the boxes and arrows instead of just writing the code.
Outside of that, it's cars. I've owned more BMWs than I'd care to add up, and the current one is a 2026 M3 Competition, custom ordered down to the last option so I got exactly what I wanted instead of whatever happened to be sitting on a dealer lot. I'm also a member of the BMW Car Club of America (BMWCCA), which is a nice way of saying I get the newsletter.
The Miata came along for a different reason: a 2014 Grand Touring PRHT, picked up as something my daughter and I could actually learn to wrench on without the risk of turning a simple job into a five-figure lesson in German engineering.
